2 . About Dredger Ship Parts Introduction
About 18 Inch Dredger Ship Cutter Head
For one cutter head, there are 5 blade,6 or 7 teeth equipped on one blade. There is material Cr. for easy-wearing proof. Cutter head is driven by hydraulic motor; cutter bearing has lubrication seal-in units.
The cutter motor is hydraulic driven low speed and high torque heavy duty design. The cutter motor is mounted on the cutter front piece on the ladder end. A special cover is provided to protect the motor from damage due to sand, rocks and debris. The cover can be removed from easy inspection and maintenance.

To support the ladder, a hoisting winch is provided at the front of the main pontoon, which is installed on a solid foundation. The winch is hydraulically driven by the reduction gear box in the winch structure. The winch has a disc brake, which is automatically activated when the pressure drops. and has a fixed speed.

About 18 Inch Dredger Ship Hydraulic system
The hydraulic system is the most important part of the river sand dredger and bucket wheel dredger. The hydraulic system is very demanding and strict; it is the main artery of the entire sand dredger. The side traction winch of the dredger, the lifting winch and the cutting head are driven by hydraulic motors.
We use hydraulic pressure to drive the entire dredger, including winches, cutting machines, hydraulic cylinders, etc. The valve is REXROTH, and the hydraulic control system is SIEMENS PLC.
About 18 Inch Dredger Ship Dredge Pump
The dredge pump is high efficiency made from wear resistant casting impeller and liners fitted on heavy duty shaft and high quality roller bearings.
The impeller is fitted on the shaft by trapezoid thread directly machine on the shaft end. The shaft sealing is a water cooled sealing that can be replaced after wear life. The impeller is a special type of double curved vanes high efficiency and wear life optimized tested in laboratory and onboard of dredgers. The impeller is fixed on the shaft
by trapezoid thread machined directly in the impeller hub.
The pump casing has a shape of a volute designed of a high efficiency and wear life optimized tested in laboratory and onboard of dredgers. The pump liners are made of high wear resistant materials and thick wall thickness to maximize the wear life. The casting covers are made from fabricated steel stiffened where necessary and
machining to fit the case and the liners.
